Who am I ?
Hi, my name is Mohamed. I'm a freelance IT consultant passionate about data.I developed this tool to help Power BI users visualize their workspace structure. It reads your Power BI data (including datasources, datasets, reports, tables, and measures) and displays them locally in a Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) for better analysis and understanding.
Feature 1: Advanced Expression Search
Search for tables or measures based on their expressions and display all nodes directly or indirectly linked.Example: Show all tables or measures that reference the "FactProductInventory" table in their expressions.
Feature 2: Node Dependency Search
Find a specific node and view all its linked elements.Example: Show all datasources, datasets, tables, and measures related to the report "r_MBU_project 1" in a workspace.
Feature 3: Dynamic Expression Display
Quickly view table and measure expressions with a single click on any node.
How it works
This tool is developed in Python and uses the official Power BI REST APIs to read and retrieve Power BI data from a workspace.✅ Your data remains local.
